A HAPPY STORY |
Buchenwald-Belsen |
Maurice Vegh & Hank Rosen met for the first time in 56 years at our annual barbecue Bristal lunch. SVC Al Chanon invited his good friend Hank Rosen, a WWII veteran to the luncheon. Hank accepted the invitation. At the luncheon Al met Post member Maurice Vegh who was a prisoner in the Buchenwald concentration camp during the war, Hank was a member of the unit that liberated these Jewish prisoners. They both remembered that liberation. |
