The Jewish War Veterans (JWV) of the USA, organized in 1896 by Jewish Veterans of the Civil War, is the oldest active national Veterans' service organization in America. Today, the Jewish War Veterans of the USA combats anti-Semitism and bigotry. JWV assists the Office of Special Investigation in pursuing Nazi war criminals.
